Green Screen effect is an advanced feature of Overlays. It makes a colour range in the top layer of two overlay clips transparent, therefore the background video clip or image behind the top layer could show through.

Under Chroma Key, you will see different options like Offset, Tolerance, Edge Thickness and Edge Feather. Lets take a look at all these that what is the purpose of them and why we use it.
Offset: Offset controls Shadows/Blacks of an image. It does this by changing the brightness/color levels while leaving midtones and highlight areas unaffected.
Tolerance: A color tolerance is a limit to how big the difference in color between a sample and standard is allowed to be for the sample to be considered acceptable. Tolerance values should correlate to the human eye so that color is both visually and numerically acceptable.
Edge Thickness: Edge Thickness defines the edge thickness that how your Edge will be shown up. It is mostly used in this filed.
Edge Feather: Gradient Feather applies an easy to adjust Linear or Radial gradient to your shape or frame.
By using these options you can adjust the intensity level and make the green color transparent. Once you satisfied then click on Ok button and save your video for final results.
