How to Install XAMPP on your Computer?
To install XAMPP on your computer first you need to download it from its official website. Choose your favourite operating system and download its setup. We’re going to install it on Windows OS.
After downloading XAMPP now move to that folder where you save it. Now click on its setup and run the Installer. A prompt will appear and simply click on Next button.
When you will click on Next button then in next screen you will be asked to choose the components which you want to install for it. After choosing these options click on Next button.
When this step is done then XAMPP will ask you in next window to choose a folder where you want to install its files. Mostly it is installed in the following path C:\xampp.
Now you have almost completed all basic steps and XAMPP will show you some instructions and introduce to itself. Simply ignore it and click on next button to move forward.
Now you’re ready to install XAMPP Controller setup at your computer. Click on Next button to begin the installation.
When you will click on the next button then the installation wizard will start.
During the installation, it will ask you to allow Apache HTTP Server to remove itself from Windows security.
When the installation completed then click on Finish button and launch it.

How to install WordPress at Localhost using XAMPP
First of all, you need to download WordPress from its official website to install it.
When you download WordPress then you need to extract it in the directory where you want.
After extracting the WordPress copy the extracted file.
Next, when you copy the folder now its time to paste it inside htdocs folder of XAMPP. The folder may be located at these two paths,
C:/Program Files/XAMPP/htdocs or find the path
C:\Xampp\htdocs and save it. Wo recommend you to rename WordPress to wpsite or your desired name. So that it will be easy to remember you.
When you completed these steps clearly then open your favourite browser and type the following address localhost/wpsite. The WordPress start screen will appear it will ask you to choose your desired language in which you want to install WordPress.

Creating a Database
This step shows you that you need to provide the database name, username, password and host to setup configuration. Now its time to create a database for your local site.
To create a database visit localhost/phpmyadmin and click on databases type your database name and click on create to create it.
When you create your database then move back to your WordPress configuration wizard. Here you need to fill the given options to complete the basic steps. Here fill the options as
Database Name: It is your database name which you created
Username: Username should be root it is important
Password: Password for localhost is blank just leave it empty
Database Host: Simple type localhost
Table Prefix: Table prefix is Wp_
Now click on Submit button to save this setting.
When you click on Submit button then a welcome note will appear. Here you need to provide your Information which you will use for your localhost site. Provide the information according to you and click on Install WordPress.
Then the following message will appear. All right sparkly! You’ve made it through this part of the installation. It means you done all your steps successfully and your installation is ready. Simply click on Run the installation and enjoy it.
Congratulation! Now you’ve successfully installed WordPress on your computer. Now click on the Login button to enter into your website.
